Do you have expensive prescriptions? Hopefully, you had your Medicare review to make sure you are in the right plan based off your prescriptions.. Remember formularies change with every carrier and sometimes in the following calendar hear the medications get cheaper...sometimes they go up in cost...sometimes they stay the same AND SOMETIMES certain medications are NOT included in the formulary for the following year making the cost 100% out of pocket.

Starting Jan. 2025 the donut hole ended and a $2000 MAX out of pocket started. This is helpful to someone who has expensive medications like blood thinners or inhalers for example (tier 3, 4, 5 medications). If you have a tight budget you may be able to have a payment plan spread over 12 months to help you afford your medications. CALL YOUR INSURANCE CARRIER to see if your medication cost qualify you for a payment plan. Look on the back of your Medicare Advantage card or Prescription Drug card for customer service number.
