Hopefully during Annual Enrollment you reviewed your PDP going into 2025. There were a lot of changes that stemmed from the CMS changes announced.
One change is the Max out of Pocket for prescriptions will be $2000.00. This is good for the client who has costly medications.
Second change is we are seeing MORE a lot of carriers are having changes in their formularies - meaning what medications they are coving and at what tier level for copay.
Third with the Max out of Pocket changes there is also opportunity to go onto a payment plan if your medication is still to costly. There is criteria and the easiest thing to do is REACH OUT to your prescription drug plan to see if you qualify for a payment plan.
